From zero to shipping software.
Three projects, in order of size, each built and shipped a different way: a one-shot web page, the same product grown in agile sprints, and a multi-platform capstone, iPhone app and web page over one shared database, delivered waterfall with the gates in place.
For founders, product owners, and the people in an IT department who specify and sign off software rather than write it. No coding experience assumed, and you will never open a terminal: Claude runs every command, and your job is to read what it proposes and decide, which is the job you already do. Eight two-hour sessions, scheduled around the work you already have. It is the course version of how the work on this site gets built.
Before session 1
Work through the setup guide (about 45 minutes, plus one large download worth starting days early). Do it before the first session, so the session is spent building rather than installing.
Project one: the one-shot (session 1)
Describe it once, watch it appear, put it on the internet. One session, one shipped thing.
Project two: agile, growing the one-shot (sessions 2 to 3)
A one-shot that needs a bit more work gets it one slice at a time: backlog, sprints, shipped every session.
Project three: waterfall, the capstone (sessions 4 to 8)
An iPhone app, a web page, one shared database. Decide everything up front, the business case, the spec, the gates and a roadmap per platform, then deliver it across the build sessions.

For the tutor
One rule for the whole course
You own what you ship. The agent writes the code; you are responsible for it. Everything in this course is really about earning the right to trust what you are shipping.
