Project Brief: [name]

One page, maximum. If it doesn't fit, the project is too big, shrink the project, not the font. Used twice in the course: picking the Session 1 one-shot (which becomes your agile product), and the capstone business case (Session 4's /office-hours). It's what you bring to /office-hours, not instead of it, the pitch conversation starts where this page stops.

The itch

What annoys/costs/limits me, in one or two sentences. Written as the problem, not the solution.

Who it's for

Me? Me and my coursemates? Anyone? (Be honest, "just me" is a great answer.)

What version 1 must do

3–5 bullet points, each one checkable. These are your acceptance criteria.

Out of scope (the most important box)

Things this project deliberately will NOT do, including good ideas. Good ideas go here to wait, not to die.

How I'll know it works

The concrete test: "I can do X and Y happens." What would I actually do with it in its first week?

Smallest shippable slice

If I could only build for one session, what's live at the end of it?
