Homework after Session 2

Time: ~60 minutes in this session or before the next session (plus a video for the weekend). This one matters: the next session opens with a demo of whatever's live.

  1. Run the loop, solo, once:

/context-restore → pick the top slice from the board → /spec it (five minutes, the slice, not the system) → /autoplan → build → /qa/land-and-deploy/canary green → move the slice to Done → /context-save

The Definition of Done is not decorative: an increment that skipped QA or whose canary wasn't green stays out of the Done column, even when it's 11pm and it probably works.

  2. Keep the board honest. New ideas go to the backlog, not into this session's sprint. If the slice turns out too big, split it and ship the smaller half, that's a skill, not a defeat.

  3. Save your prompt. Paste the best prompt you wrote in this session into a new file in your project called prompts-that-worked.md. You're starting a personal library, future you will thank present you.

  4. Watch (weekend is fine): Learn 90% of Claude Code in 31 Minutes, Chase AI (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwkdDcO4vWQ). Note one technique he uses that we haven't covered, and bring it up.

  5. Bring to Session 3: the board, and the live URL ready to demo, prepare nothing special; the site is the demo.
