Homework after Session 5: the gap that isn't a break

Time: about 30 minutes, spread over the days before Session 6. The planning half is done; rested beats prepared.

  1. Read the baselined plan once, a day or two before Session 6. Not to change it (it's frozen, that's the point) but so the build starts with the whole shape in your head: spec, design, three roadmaps.

  2. Check the phone is ready. Ask Claude: "check that Xcode and my iPhone are set up for development, walk me through anything missing." Say yes to what it suggests; flag anything scary to your tutor. Ten minutes now saves thirty on build session.

  3. Look at your stage-gate checklist. Four sign-offs and a sequencing decision, all yours, each with reasons. You now own a business case, a spec, a reviewed plan, a design language, an architecture diagram, and three roadmaps, and there is not one line of capstone code yet. From Session 6, that inverts.

  4. Keep the agile product alive. Run a slice through the loop if an idea bites, it's your product, and the loop is yours now. No obligation; velocity includes the quiet gaps.
